First-Time Login

We want to be sure you have a successful experience when you first log in to the new system on your transition day. We have created a set of step-by-step instructions that you can download and reference. However, these are the key steps.

1. Make sure it’s the transition day for your group.

You should have received multiple letters and emails from us indicating which group and date you are transitioning to the new system. If you are unsure which group or transition date, please call the Transition Helpline at (877) 860-9449.

2. Locate and have your temporary password ready.

We mailed this to you in a blue envelope. If you are unable to locate your temporary password, call the Transition Helpline at (877) 860-9449.

3. Read and follow the login instructions.

4. Select the correct login link.

Choose the correct link from the drop-down menu.

Key Differences from Former System

New One-Time Passcode Requirement

During your first login, you will register for the new verification process: a One-Time Passcode (OTP). You will be prompted to create secure access targets; these are text or voice phone numbers to which we will send an OTP that the system uses as a second authentication factor. On your first login, and on any subsequent login when the system detects a new device or other unusual login behavior, your preferred device will be sent an OTP for you to enter. This extra layer of security protects your accounts and data even if your password is somehow stolen or compromised.

New Security Challenge Questions

During this first login, you will also be asked to establish five security questions. These will be used for authentication purposes should you forget your password.

Which User ID or Company ID should I use?
First, note that your Org ID in the Business Banking Online system is now referred to as Company ID in the new system. It is likely that the Org ID and User ID you used in the former Business Banking Online system will be the same in the new platform. The exception is if your User ID or Org ID contain special characters that the new platform does not support. If one or both did change, you should have received that information via postal mail in a blue envelope. If you can’t find the blue envelope or you were unsuccessful on your first-time login, then call the Transition Helpline at (877) 860-9449.
