The new platform supports several new security features to safeguard your banking accounts and information.
The system provides multi-layered security through a built-in feature known as a One-Time Passcode (OTP). It is required on first-time login; whenever the system detects abnormal activity at login (such as use of a new device); and in order to approve (release) an ACH or wire. The OTP functionality delivers an authentication code to the secure access targets (text message or voice) that you set up.
During your first login, you will be prompted to create your secure access targets. The system sends an OTP to the chosen target, which you will then enter to confirm your identity. This extra layer of security is designed to protect your accounts and data even if your password is somehow stolen or compromised.
During this first login, you will also be asked to establish five security questions. These will be used for authentication purposes should you forget your password.
